Privacy Policy

CCC is an early-development cycling coaching app operated by an individual developer. This policy describes what CCC stores when you connect a Strava or Intervals.icu account, and what you can do about it.

What we store

• Account identity: your email address.
• Connection details for each service you connect: your athlete ID on that service, the permissions (scopes) you granted, and when you connected or disconnected.
• Access credentials: the OAuth access token (and refresh token, where the service issues one). These are encrypted before being written to our database and are never stored in plain text. We never see or store your Strava or Intervals.icu password.

In this early version we do not yet copy your activities, wellness data or calendar into our own database. If a future version does, this policy will be updated first and the change described here.

How we use it

Only to provide CCC's coaching features: connecting to your accounts on your behalf, and (in future versions) reading your training data and writing planned workouts to your Intervals.icu calendar. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to build profiles for third parties.

Who else handles your data

Strava and Intervals.icu, which you choose to connect, and whatever hosting provider CCC runs on. Data from Strava is used under the Strava API Agreement and data from Intervals.icu under the Intervals.icu API Terms and Conditions.

Your choices

• Disconnect a service in CCC at any time. CCC asks the service to revoke its access, marks the connection as revoked, and deletes the stored tokens. If the service is unreachable, the tokens are still deleted from CCC and you should also remove CCC under the service's own app settings.
• Revoke access directly from Strava or Intervals.icu at any time.
• Delete your data: email the contact address below and we will delete your account and connection records.

Security

Tokens are encrypted at rest with a key held outside the database. No system is perfectly secure, and this is an early-stage project, so please connect only if you are comfortable with that.

Changes

We will update this page, and its effective date, when practices change.
